The Person Behind the Guidance
Sanjay Khimesara began his journey the way many young people do — uncertain about which path to take after engineering. After completing his B.E. in 1992, he spent five years gaining industry exposure before pursuing his MBA from IMS, DAVV, Indore. That experience of navigating career crossroads — and finding clarity through purpose — shaped everything that followed.
In June 1997, while still completing his management program, he took a decision that would define the next three decades: he founded Central Indias first dedicated Design and Media school in Indore. What began as a single center has since trained over 20,000 students — many of whom now work on Oscar-winning films, AAA games, global advertising campaigns, and Indias most celebrated digital productions.
Today, Sanjay is one of Indias most trusted voices in career guidance for the creative industries.

Sanjay lives by the values of Jainism — non-violence, simplicity and service. He is an avid marathon runner who has completed over 25 million steps and 20,000+ km in support of social causes. He actively supports women empowerment as a Core Member of Women in Animation India Collective, and provides free audio-visual support to public welfare organisations including MP Police, RRCAT (BARC Division), Indore Management Association and others.

Global & Industry Leadership

As President and International Board Member of ASIFA India — the Indian chapter of the Association Internationale du Film dAnimation, a UNESCO-supported NGO present in 40+ countries — Sanjay has grown the organisation from 2 chapters to 15 active sub-chapters, engaging over 50,000 creators annually across India.

He served as Secretary and Lead Patron of the AVGC-XR Media & Entertainment Association, Madhya Pradesh — a Section 8 organisation dedicated to the welfare of the Media & Entertainment sector. He played a pivotal role in getting the MP AVGC-XR Policy formulated, budgeted and implemented — which was officially gazetted by the State Government in March 2025.

He partnered with the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting for over 10 months on the CReate in India Challenge, culminating in its celebration at WAVES 2025 — Indias first World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit, held in Mumbai from 1–4 May 2025 — where he led a delegation of 50+ members from across the globe, in the presence of the Prime Minister of India.

He serves as Governing Council Member of MESC (Media & Entertainment Skills Council) and is on the boards of FICCI AVGC Forum and PHD Chamber of Commerce. He has recently been invited to join the Council of the Indian Institute of Creative Technologies — the National Centre of Excellence initiated by the Ministry of I&B with FICCI and CII.

Sanjay Khimesara is renowned educationist and practising Career Counsellor & Career Coach .He has guided over 50000 students till date. He is also engaged in further research work on the AVGC Sector & has been involved in Consultation on AVGC by Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India.

Sanjay has been selected for Honoris Causa Doctorate Degree Award in Digital Media & AVGC from Brampton International University. Sanjay has been recently got recognition during May 2022 for his contribution to AVGC Sector by Animation Xpress as among top 20 experts in India during Eduspark Summit in Mumbai. He moderated one virtual session  and was part of one live panel session at Eduspak Summit. He also got Golden Pixel Award, Captains, Icons and many other recognitions. He has been part of various panel discussions at CII, FICCI, Vidhyadaan initiative of MESC,NSDC, Indian CSR Summit, Edtech & Education Summit etc.

Sanjay is also active on the community services and works passionately with various Non Government Organizations to help students and society. He is President & Core Committe Member of Asifa India & Director for Section 8 Company Asifa Animation Foundation. He is also Secretary of MP AVGC-XR Media & Entertainment Association formed for welfare of Community in Central India.  He has been included as Governing Council Member of Media & Entertainment Skills Council (MESC) funded by NSDC, Distinuguished Member, FICCI-AVGC Forum & AVGC Sub Committee Member of PHDCCI.
